Possibility of Alien Sea Life On Saturn’s Moon

Cassini-1024x683

Ten years ago the Cassini spacecraft, designed by NASA, discovered geysers caused by hydrothermal vents located in the frigid seas of Enceladus.  Researchers used dust samples to analyze and determine that some of the particles were derived from a mineral interaction taking place at a temperature to support life.  There may well be micro organisms living in or around the thermal vents of Saturn’s moon.  With the difficulties searching our own ocean bottoms and resources required, it may be a while before we’re able to discover what is lurking in the Enceladus’s icy sea.
